Eligibility Criteria For Admission

Admission to Madina Institute of Science & Technology (MISAT) Bannu is offered on open merit through the MISAT Admission Committee in accordance with the policies laid down by Khyber Medical University (KMU) Peshawar. Candidates must have passed F.Sc (Pre-Medical) or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks from any recognized Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education. Candidates are also required to appear in the KMU-CAT Test.

1. Candidates who have passed F.Sc (Pre-Medical) or equivalent with minimum 50% marks are eligible to apply for BS degree programs.
2. Candidates from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa including merged districts, AJK, Gilgit Baltistan and other provinces can apply for admissions.
3. Both male and female candidates who duly appeared in KMU-CAT Test are eligible. Admission shall be granted on merit basis only.

Ineligibility For Admission

A candidate shall be ineligible for admission if he/she has been convicted by a court of law for an offence involving moral turpitude, if he/she has been dismissed, removed or compulsorily retired from government service on grounds of misconduct, if he/she has been found guilty of impersonation or of submitting forged documents, if he/she fails to meet the minimum eligibility criteria prescribed by KMU or FPMA, if he/she has obtained marks through unfair means, or if he/she is already enrolled in a similar program at another institution without proper clearance. The decision of the MISAT Admission Committee in this regard shall be final.

Merit For Admission

• F.Sc or equivalent marks = 50%
• KMU-CAT Test = 40%
• S.S.C or equivalent marks = 10%

Calculation of Marks For Merit List

• Marks obtained in S.S.C / equivalent ÷ Total marks × 1100 × 0.10 = 10% of S.S.C
• Marks obtained in F.Sc / equivalent ÷ Total marks × 1100 × 0.50 = 50% of F.Sc
• Marks obtained in KMU-CAT ÷ Total marks × 1100 × 0.40 = 40% of KMU-CAT

The aggregate percentage shall be calculated according to the above weightage criteria for preparation of the final merit list for admission.
